waking to her cold limbs and voice full of fire
a page from an unwritten book i take to bed
a day and a month more to winter these bones know
autumn the masses pay to be inspired
disconnected from the city dreams this skin
swallowed whole the stray who barked at the fog
from the well her bucket ripples with stars
nightfall we close the distance between lips
