the autumn rain wakes the other half of moon

outside the coffeeshop chaos the gentle drizzle

unsound lady boogies to a melody inside her head

leaf exodus from crown to the damp ground

faces awash with the autumn pyre glow

bodies in limbo between seasons

lamps and lanterns raised a toast to summer’s end

in love with the half human half moon through the tiny window autumn night

nightfall we sneak up on the cat shadow
