bridge crossing crows demand a toll

night bodies writhe in the summer heat

bodies fall in step fall into silence

cast this shadow into the deep blue of no return

traces of night on morning lips

cat nap resetting the summer vibe

the same summer cat with a different soul

dark circles reaching for the face on other side
