the water is left untouched when the moon appears inside a rain barrel
autumn: our courage to exist is tested at every turn
a year worth remembering: for the number of times i’ve been bored
light a bonfire by the coast and if it survives the night summer can return
some days: i delight in not knowing never understanding by just simply being
a tenderness untamed: your skin becomes the slate upon which we build worlds
the brevity of the fading light has changed something in me
fog fills the hollow and the macabre plays tricks on the frail minds of man
press a face of flesh lovingly into the untouched earth and you have made a homunculus
