phantasmal orbs flicker and tremble trailing off into the deeper darkness as serpents of light
a rift remains in the grey horizon where once dragons fled in blazing arcs from a hollowed fiend
take the enchanted sword swing and let it sing away its rust in bloody combat
a thousand ravens of winter scatter crowns and bones into the wind
where chaos hums like an eternal battle hymn the war is not out here but deep within the flesh
a moonlit coated slug finds its target in the raised hackles of the wildebeest as true darkness descends a greater evil is lured to the shimmering carcass a beacon in the eternal plains
the falchion on her lap pulses with atavic desires crimson and shadow struggle and crave for the blood on lips
i gaze into a thousand mirrors seeking the spell that grants me: no fear against gravity and the mad gods
