on command dragons in chains chase the sun from the day sky
spends an eternity mapping the fissures of his mind a nameless wizard
she kneels not to pray but to bind her fury to the earth
rivers rise in rebellion and forests twist into snarling maws
at world’s edge a burning bridge for gods to cross into the void
the soundless and boundless melody of light ruptured
blood is ink and even shadows cling to forgotten thrones
