my storms sleep outside the door tonight the monsoon for company

tread light across a sea of bedsheets to meet you halfway
with each whisper she becomes more beautiful quiet eyes at dawn
sneaking up on the old ginger cat mynahs find joy
cold dawn sleep finds us beyond the thick sea fog
fertilize gaslit minds with truth the calm in the summer garden
as we prune round the edges of this conspiracy the lies are unearthed
late noon we tend to our feelings in the zen garden
word after word layer upon layer of substance to flesh out this scene between stage and script
violet skies and burning moons harder than you think making sense of alien worlds
