of dark bodied gods in ritualistic carnal reinvention
Tag: poetry
revisiting ghosts in an armchair the grim tales we tell
breaths banished in the cool noon rain
random flashes of illumination deifying the confines of the dream fog
light rays and streaks of dawnfire the flesh has yet to wake
spread thin as the fog creeping slow across the forest floor
summer bodies flirting with the cool light of dawn
a frail hand reaches out to make a pact with the void
where the abyss meets the light a place for displaced feelings
you feel the summertime burn the madness inspire
