boards the bus with empty shells the noon rain
Tag: poetry
a strange stillness the river too has hardened into concrete
the conversation with the tree begins with a leaf fall
treetop canopies holding on as cold winds rage
ice on the bruise eyes follow the horseshoe cloud
the echoe wanes and the words drift north
bass thumping the rain blitzes without mercy
the blood within the finger throbs burns and explodes
the lightning spreads its roots across winter sky
wake from the abysmal overture of rainfall
