evac route cold winds lead the way

before the storm the sky catches fire

curtains drawn we invite the rain in

follow the flow of silence

humbled by the great sky fire at dusk

web of clouds we lock fingers

bodies squirm between the sheets as night slows

fill empty pockets with sea and sand

rain outside the silence stays
