the sun long gone the moon bares her fangs

cloud worm chasing the winter sun

filling the void grey rain

designed to calm the soul slow stream flow

stranded on blanket island little one starts an imaginary fire

excusing myself from humanity

far from home sirens and the lives lost

undying the winter hive mind

broken glass and crushed dreams on the freeway
