lavender to ward the virus and winter demons
who set the block on fire the winter moon did
crescent moon watching humans flee from smoke and fire
fire alarm goes off waking the roosters
here we are in flesh at winter’s whim
night rain the old gods gaze into the void
a city of trauma and dysfunctions
