kindly deposit your eyes in this box the whiskey burns
more shadow than shrill getting used to this face
autumn night the time spent with walls counts as penance
electric sages making sense of alien sounds and neon lit oddities
how eager the night moth is to fly into the flames of the sun
autumn noon i pick a face from the tree and wear it with utmost care
flesh just barely surviving in a watered down version of peace
how quickly the ego forgets that it is wrapped in flesh
late noon the thunderstorm and so much more to fear
