the mango tree tells a tale of a pigeon who was too white for the masses
out of the virgin darkness the spring moon blooms
recede to a space within the cold comfort of timber and shadows
crow tears she rasped and limbs came to a standstill
rain droplets exploding against window grills the assault on silence
night extends her reach storm black clouds raging against daylight
words taking root in the subconscious spurred by the devices of nature
in automatic blabber the mind creates what the tongue refuses
come undone at dawn tired limbs wading through the sheets
