rain eternal the flesh forgets its duty to this shell
winter coast the plastic persuasion of cold waves
the craven moon fleeing from the raging fires of first light
the winter forest has us locked in its unblinking gaze
hold them cold bones in place with will of the mind
waking from the subterfuge of winter’s grip
a gentle scratch on the surface to reveal the soma within
read me and fall into this ocean of dark currents
try and assimilate warped facets of the frail mind
