a gentle reminder that not all muses live forever
a conversation with shadows across the fire
black pen tip striking freedom out from the heart
summer dusk the mindless propaganda scares me to the core
the flesh metes out morsels of wrath by the pieces for the masses
soul searching denied by the cries of the summer crow
leading flesh into luna shimmering scales guide us from wave to wave
sit round the hungry fire and debate night’s purpose
nothing more to grief just the illusion of the summer moon in the sky
