coffee at noon and the art of not dying
the dark moves on but the stragglers linger in limbo
now if we all put our heads together we might actually solve the greatest crime of all: existence
there is no front back or side door until you give meaning to this madness
floating as a phantom pariah amongst cosmic gas clouds
neon tendrils pulling the strings on this puppet body
an interval at thirty five to ponder the second half of life how nice
the things i’d say to you as the last light leaves this plane of existence
a burnt shoulder to lean on as tears converge with the eternal flow
