night extends her reach storm black clouds raging against daylight
words taking root in the subconscious spurred by the devices of nature
in automatic blabber the mind creates what the tongue refuses
come undone at dawn tired limbs wading through the sheets
in splashes and ripples we speak to the spring sea
artificial lights after dark fueling artificial minds
smog song the machine hum from within war silos
remember body the forgotten cloud trails
