how’s my day going just a shadow away from mordor
the grim foray into the mass of malleable flesh with long strides
never enough this lifetime to harbor and harness each and every madness
winter realization this cold culture of stares we’ve nurtured
a fair price to pay for the comfort of your skin and the warmth of your lips
cause and effect the pleasures of neon nights and the throbbing pain after
pace yourself and you’ll have enough dreams for the eternal sleep
a stray joins the pack our rebellion against winter grows
a step closer into the prayer and incense still a long way from the divine
