cold hands hollowing the shell to peek at the nothingness within
dusk the void speaks through the conch listen with care
my superpower you ask: existing indefinitely
take your eyes elsewhere if my dark bothers you
wear this skin well wear it with pride at least today
all that colour gone from skin an epitaph to the grey and departed
eating ice cream is an act of rebellion
