bodies of flesh drifting closer to the void by the hour
old smokey cat still practices the art of nothingness
fabric and play the tiger moth’s tussle
as if the very earth is called to heaven the autumn moth flutters skywards
calmed by the voices of children the night moth slips into meditation
by way of dreams she speaks the landscape of fall calls
dusk we piece together the bones of night the bonfire ablaze
you’re in my headspace an overdose of sea and salt
bare your bodies tonight the moon’s come to harvest skin and bone
