the cold flap of wings sends a shiver down to the soul
dawn ethereal whales emerging from the concrete mist
the rain has stopped and the flesh is woke with designs of defiance
softly suggest the notion of freedom to caged flesh
dark bodies in metamorphosis between the rain and warmth
bodies reel from a hint of sulfur in the evening winds
after dawn the body in a timeless state between dreams and reality
silent screams of a scarecrow flailing its ragged limbs in the rice fields
feet follow the trail of grey clouds leading to the storm-kissed coastline
