obscured in yellow haze and sea fog ghost ships docked at port
autumn pier storm clouds devour the morning sun
to be carved out by the darkness and still be whole the moon’s sacrifice
i dare not speak the words for the watchful eye in the night sky
waning crescent this obsession with the seasons has come full circle
tell me of the day when freedom died in your mind
the laments of coastal winds caught in unfurled sails
crows gather around to send me off into the autumn cold sea
i see through atvaisic eyes and revel in the glory of life’s imperfections
