the auburn of senses autumn i truly see
the gaze of the forest awakens something within me
three eyes tell the tale of the human who wandered into the maw of the forest
drizzle born of the autumn moon and night
the forest speaks through this bag of meat
autumn night the caged bird screams and still we pretend to be human
live long enough and you learn to see the illusion of peace
deathbed the hands i’ve held far colder than mine
between the crack in the shell the bombs trickle in
