the spring crow melts away in the rain outside
the world resets itself in the hours between winter and spring
the mist misbehaves never settling for flesh or tree
the forest calls and these feet bring the sand of seas
stay them lips from the dusk light hungry eyes stray
this body bears witness to the cold sunrise on the rocky coast
body bare and innocent in the dark time unbound
storm winds raise dead leaves in celebration spring is here
how gently the seas come to shore caressing the earth untouched
