crows gather around to send me off into the autumn cold sea
i see through atvaisic eyes and revel in the glory of life’s imperfections
the raging storm outside silenced by polished glass walls
skipping tea for coffee and more delusions of grandeur
from behind stained glass tanks fish eyes observe and scrutinize the movements of warm flesh
in the dingiest of places a back alley flower threatens the morning gloom
sit back relax and let this summer morning flow through your veins
after dawn amused at his holiness the vagrant’s entourage of winged royals attending to every detail and need
the alienness of this rather mad day sets in our brittle bones
