the city grey drowns in the forever rain
we forget about ghosts and kneel before the rain
bonfire by the coast warming the sea of stars
highland path the soft frost blankets impaled cadavers
lifting her veil the moonfolk bard sings to your purse
field of blades a cut in the flesh at every turn
the divine red gold extinguished in ash grey
drums and lion dancers the gloom grows with the beat
baby steps the pale mist scattered in the dark
