a dream of concrete powder shadows linger in the hallway
quite literally dust to dust builders breaking hard
spring noon the woodpecker vibes to the drilling upstairs
late may settling into the automatic state of mind
spring noon we each brew a cup of thunderstorm
the comforts of the void consoles the flesh
mostly a shadow these days defying my very existence
dragging my feet crows explode into the dusk sky
remember freedom remember the sands and salt
