an old man dancing by the silent river maybe you’ll sing to me one day
prep the dream with flesh and summer’s breath
of thumb bones cracking and the rhythmic nuance
the collective conscience drowns in the opheliac dusk
dark before dawn crows scavenge from the virgin river
the spring sky undressed revolts with lightning and fire
flesh and sea at harmony the picture perfects itself
hummingbirds guide as I take aim after dawn
the pretence of pseudo gods under a concrete sky
