defiance cat shadow refuses to budge from the gates
the system is undone crumbling from within
the system is fragile the system is wanton
don’t forget to tax the trees perhaps a speed ticket for the autumn gales
autumn is nature’s way of saying: fuck you humans
trees paint their faces red shed leaves in protest
light blankets the slow stream in shimmer
