imagine a world where every sentence every word every possible combination of syntax punctuation or syllable written or spoken is policed by the grammar nazis a world where you could be hunted and herded into grim gulags for speaking or writing in the wrong tense interrogated and tortured and made to write rewrite lines and lines of proper sentences and forced to enunciate every word behind barbed wire fences a world where life and death hangs on a very thin thread pulled by the inquisitorial reichs who will either have you walking a converted and corrected puppet or laid to rest in a trench of rebel corpses a world where resist or die is quite literally in the words you choose to say
