tense winds grim faces still no sign of rain
to each our own void
bodies bare surrender to the greying process
summer sun pulses anole puffs out its throat
greedy river parades a feather downstream
hellfire tones and cloud tremors
summer moon softer after the rain
summer snail celebrates by vanishing in thin air
