my sky empty of winged gods
caged bird looks the other way while i pee
on behalf of beaten bodies shadows raise a toast
mozzie slips through fingers dark winds
flesh dissolves at first thought of day
sand and wind the slow dance at the beach
quiet in the zen garden papercut
winter bodies settle into a state of peace
the streets at dawn void of humanity
