dusk bird calls waking the virus
cathartic staring into the darkness
removing dead matter from the stars
imaginary lines on maps defining humanity
spring tranquil enough for time to pause
bubble of silence life sprouts
eyes behind the back they watch they don’t say
iron curtain soaked in rain blue
between the gaps of night sky gold flashes
