silence surrounds the broken god
behind fortified glass dusk bodies slump
imagine you rising from wood ash and embers
dusk in her voice soothes the night
strangeness to this scene of confused pigeons
concrete walls shy away from pale breasts
after dark we try to remember azure skies
crux of dusk and night the infant darkness
winter spider
steps out cautiously
