train ride and the oceans we could pour into empty faces
a place for my head until the screaming winds leave
night’s lawn we shred the moon to ribbons
unhitched world if wars are what it takes to unite humans
the net caught the tide and now the moon wants it back
palm lines and prophecies of an untold destiny
running after receding waves only to fill the soul with seawater
slip down into the underside and remember to feel nothing
in the beginning what came first the moon of course
