last days of summer the tongue becomes an extension of the blade
feelings consumed raw by the moonlight
hugging the shoreline until the first rays of light drive the demons from the bay
pleasure is a sleepless night amongst rough waves
not just cosmic dust but a bonfire ablaze in this universe
train ride the bored mind reshapes daft faces
mynahs launched into the cold drafts of dawn
