disintegrate under footfalls autumn baked leaves
within concrete ovens the flesh well done and served tender
soft beckons soft to bed to sleep to whispers and dreams
the landscape turns around and bites you
displaced bodies lost in this fog of war
cushion the fall from grace with more lies
autumn night this body chooses peace first
cold hands hollowing the shell to peek at the nothingness within
dusk the void speaks through the conch listen with care
