fills the great void earthen hue of the noon rain
all is maya under the mango tree cast aside flesh and bone
milk pots and peacock feathers guided by war drums
unwavering devotion the body by design no longer bleeds
the rain as witness to the lies we live
cat brings the winter moth to the brink of death and disappears into the darkness
footprint in the mud not questions but connections
we speak to the mad gods in greys and whispers
winter dawn the cobbler mending his mind on the sidewalk
