pale grey the eye in the winter grim sky
buried at the feet of banyan tree: ego
after the storm the bruised face of the dawn sly
glass towers how strange the lives of empty shells
new moon the winter flower’s fall from grace
dawn the sound of turbines and rain warping reality
the drizzle as guide the breath of flesh slows
the winter forest teaches us of new ways to dream
blood magic they say when a whisper can shatter your mind
